The 2009 Caribbean Soca Monarch will be held at the Mindoo Phillip Park on July 19th. Fifteen artistes including three from host country Saint Lucia will clash in the ninth installment of the event. Previously held under the banner “OECS and Barbados Soca Monarch”, it has now grown to not only include competitors from the wider sub region, but also their faithful following of flags, rags, fans and bigger hits.
